Most people here in America have gotten use to dealing with doctors who though well intentioned, often wind up treating them as just one more number on their daily roster of patients. Many unfortunately make a habit of reaching for a prescription pad as opposed to considering other options. There are, of course, exceptions. One is physician David Steenblock who has spent his long, productive medical career developing safe, non-toxic therapies that gently stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms. He has come up with a whole host of nutritional and dietary measures as well as nutraceuticals that have brought about impressive improvements in patients struggling with arthritis, emphysema, and a whole host of other chronic diseases and medical conditions.
He has also figured out how to turn the tables on chronic stroke and traumatic brain injury. In a 1997 study involving fifty (50) stroke patients 97% reported good to excellent to remarkable results from a regimen of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), physical therapy and biofeedback training.
In addition, he was one of the first doctors anywhere to advocate the use of umbilical cord blood stem cells to treat cerebral palsy (CP) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) in children. This led to his becoming a key consultant to clinics in Mexico and elsewhere who were among the first anywhere to use cord blood stem cells to treat these and other medical conditions.
And in 2006, Dr. David Steenblock became one of the first physicians in North America to harvest and use patient’s own stem cell rich bone marrow to treat a wide variety of medical problems including macular degeneration and ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease.)
